Would adsense work for a non technical subject matter blog?

By admin On March 12, 2010 1 COMMENT

I want to start a newsblog, I won’t say what it is going to contain exactly at this point :-) but if for example it was a blog about horses, would adsense be a viable way of earning a small income from it, or would the blog have to be on a subject like ipods or mobile phones for Adsense to work?
Thanks all.

Adsense finds related content to display advertisements, so it does not matter what subject your blog is about.

It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of impressions in thousands. For example, if a publisher earned $180 from 45,000 impressions, the eCPM would

How do I add an adsense revenue sharing model to my site?

By admin On March 11, 2010 2 COMMENTs

The site doesn’t exist yet, but I’m curious as to how I’d add an adsense revenue share model to my site. By that I mean, a user gets a percent on the money earned from Adsense ads with their ID on certain pages.

Any help appreciated, cheers.

The most 2 easiest way to do that are :
1. If you have money, hire a coder and he would do that using google api.

2. Set a variable , lets say it pub. The content/value of pub variable it will be the publisher id of site user/author/contributor/etc.
When the visitors of the site will see pages/articles/posts of some author, the ads will be displayed for that author, using in the code of the adsense unit the variable pub.
Example:
<script type="text/javascript">
<!–
google_ad_client="<?php echo $pub;?>"; – here will have place the change
google_ad_host_channel="00000";
google_ad_width=160;
google_ad_height=90;

Good Luck!

How many visitors would a site need to earn 4,000 dollars a month with adsense?

By admin On March 10, 2010 6 COMMENTs

I know it is difficult to answer, but a ballpark figure is all I am looking for. I have an educational webpage with teacher resources and am thinking of signing up for adsense.

You don’t need multiple websites to earn $4,000 a month with Adsense. For a long time, I earned more than $4000 with only one website. It all depends how well your website fits with Adsense

In terms of earning money on Adsense, your mileage varies. One website with the 10,000 uniques a day can earn $50 a month while another may earn $5,000. It is not easy to predict how much you will earn from Adsense. The only way you can learn about how your site will perform with Adsense is through trying it.

The amount you can earn will depend on the

1. Responsiveness of audience to the ads = A travel website that provides information on travel to

What’s the difference between Linkshare and Google Adsense?

By admin On March 9, 2010 1 COMMENT

I notice there are a lot of Affiliate broker/networks (e.g. Linkshare) and also Google Adsense. I cant figure out what the benefit is in using those other networks like Linkshare vs. using Google Adsense….Wouldnt i always want to use Adsense since they are trusted?

Linkshare is an affiliate management broker where you can find advertisers who PAY BY COMMISSION from a predefined set of action — per sale, per lead or per signup. No matter how many times the ads are viewed or clicked, Linkshare only pay when the action is done. Plus, you have the option of selecting advertisers you want shown in your site

Adsense is a contextual advertising website where they automatically match the ads based on the content of your site. You can earn by

1. Pay per click – this is the common way to earn which is you earn every time a visitor clicks on your ads
2. Pay
